Use wooden trim, PVC molding, or reclaimed wood—cut to size, sand, paint/stain, and attach to the mirror edges with mirror adhesive or clips.

Buff minor scratches with toothpaste or metal polish. For deep scratches, apply a mirror repair kit or replace the glass.

Apply painter's tape in a grid pattern across the mirror surface, then use a putty knife to gently pry it off the wall while supporting the weight. For glued mirrors, use a heat gun to soften the adhesive first.
